چکیده
This study contributes to the periodic review inventory system literature by: (1) investigating customer service level (CSL) as a social responsibility in pharmaceutical supply chains (PSCs) and (2) proposing chain contracting achieve win–win coordination guarantee satisfied CSL. Specifically, considering demand uncertainty one of main challenges faced by pharmacies, we analyze how applying contracts coordinate policy pharmacy with that its supplier can affect their profits CSL offered society. Having shown advantages centralization compared decentralization, design scheme based on quantity discount contract encourage players move towards centralization. Under proposed scheme, first obtain minimum maximum acceptable amounts from each actor’s viewpoint. Then, propose benefit-sharing strategy order make plan interesting both sides. The distribute extra equitably between two participants according bargaining power, which condition for actors. Our results suggest coordinating period order-up-to-level retailer replenishment multiplier will be benefit terms economic profitability responsibility.

In this paper, we explore the issue of coordination in a manufacturer-retailer supply chain where the manufacturer is socially responsible and invests in CSR activities. On the other hand, the retailer invests in promotional efforts and uses a periodic review order-up-to policy for replenishing items. First, the decentralized decision-making structure is modeled to calculate the minimum accepta...

متن کاملCoordinating pricing and periodic review replenishment decisions in a two-echelon supply chain using quantity discount contract
In this paper, the coordination of pricing and periodic review inventory decisions in a supplier-retailer supply chain (SC) is proposed. In the investigated SC, the retailer faces a stochastic price dependent demand and determines the review period, order-up-to-level, and retail price. On the other hand, the supplier decides on the replenishment multiplier. Firstly, the decentralized and centra...
متن کاملSupply Chain Coordination using Different Modes of Transportation Considering Stochastic Price-Dependent Demand and Periodic Review Replenishment Policy
In this paper, an incentive scheme based on crashing lead time is proposed to coordinate a supplier-retailer supply chain (SC). In the investigated SC, the supplier applies a lot-for-lot replenishment policy to replenish its stock and determines the replenishment multiplier. Moreover, the transportation lead time is considered under the control of the supplier. The retailer as downstream member...

In this paper,a coordination model has been investigated for a two-level supply chain (SC) consisting of one retailer and one supplier under periodic review inventory system. The review period and the retailer’s safety factorare assumed to be decision variables. The retailer faces stochastic demand following a normal distribution with known mean and variance. Moreover, it is assumed that unmet ...
